Spirit Box

Spirit Box

For the past few years, I've been jumping between bands and solo work trying to find a fit. In bands, I could never fully create what I wanted to and as a solo musician, I haven't had the ability to realize what it is I wanted to make. Just recently I discovered vaporwave, as a result of my last band disolving I had plenty of time to dive right in. Now just a few months later I've released my first EP and have a second one in the works.

My music dream is to make songs people want to hear.

Sleep deprivation and a need to create.

Confident but not too obsorb in what I'm doing to have fun with the crowd.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

The musicians' reality is that the importance of being an actual musician is becoming less important in the music industry. I don't know if this could be improved, people like what they like and if they want autotune and the same beat played over and over then that's what will succeed.

Persistance and willingness to work and communicate with others.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

I don't have very obscure tastes but if you're looking for new chillout music I'd look up Dylan Bailey.
