Gone Savage

Story

Original Melodic Hard Classic Rock ! We are somewhat traditional in our roots but we move with the times!! Think, Scorpions, UFO, Loudness, Priest, Crue, Ratt... You getting it? Ian and Will and whoever else we need! Gone Savage are - Ian Salpekar and Will Glover Original Classic Rock - hard hitting, melodic, harmonies, modern and now! We are somewhat traditional in our roots but we move with the times and embrace new music, alternative music, out there music to define our sound! We write no-nonsense rock with attitude, it’s catchy, it’s easy on the ear, it’s now! Currently working on brand new material for a full independent album release with some really radical and open minded musicians and we are very proud to say our new music is evolving from the previous material like a phoenix out of the fire of prolonged despair! Short bio; ABOUT - We would describe our music as Classic Rock with a hard edge. Accompanied by soaring melodies and up to 4 part harmonies, the line-up consists of Bass, Drums, Keyboards, Guitar and Lead Vocal, with all members singing backing vocals. Live sets incorporate audio and visual effects to supplement the live audio. LIVE - currently away from live work but previous performances included Stage2 at HRH AOR6, which was met with great enthusiasm from both the people attending and the gathered media. We were also invited to perform an acoustic set for VIP’s and press on the same weekend. LOCATION - Based in Leyland near Manchester UK

What is music to you? What does it give you?

A massive and very warm welcome to all our friends and fans who are reading this...the very first Gone Savage blog-post! As you may ( or may not ) be aware, we are INCREDIBLY busy people at the moment! We are writing and recording a brand new album, the first new material from this band for.... take a deep breath... 23 years! ....That's the easy bit! Things have certainly changed dramatically as far as the music business goes. While we have been quietly going about our lives and still playing/writing/singing, the world of self promotion has moved on at the speed of light. The days of sending out a demo tape ( you can explain the word tape to your kids later ) and sitting back waiting for somebody to knock on your door with a chequebook ( you can explain the word chequebook to your kids at the same time as you explain the word tape ) are loooooong gone. So in the spirit of modernity and engagement with our social media, whatever that means, we present our newsletter. This monthly update will feature all things GS and contain interesting and relevant facts and fun for the discerning individual. OK, so let’s dive right in!
