Award winning guitarist & singer since the age of 18. Graduated from The Rhythmic Music Conservatory of Copenhagen with a master in guitar. He became a student of the world-famous rhythm phenomenon Trilok Gurtu (IN)studying south Indian rhythms "Konnakol" Henrik Andersen has toured & recorded with artists all over the world like: Trilok Gurtu (IN), Pete Lockett (UK), Ranjit Barot (IN), Gumbi Ortiz(USA) Frank Colon(BR) Charlie Bisharat(USA) Mahesh Vinaykram (IN)Bickram Ghosh (IN), Mandolin U.Rajesh (IN) S.Shashank (IN), Natasja (DK), Outlandish (DK) Roman Miroschnichenko (RU), Jose Antonio Rodriguez (SP) Music Spoken Here (DK), Oriental Mood (DK) Carla Alexander (BZ) DJ-Schak (DK) Henrik Andersen has also performed John McLaughlins concerto for guitar & orchestra "The Mediterranean" on several occations a.o in Moscow and in Copenhagen. In 2018 the Kaluga world of guitar festival commissioned a guitar concerto from Henrik Andersen Wich he performed himself with Moscow symphony orchestra same year. Henrik Andersen is a very popular teacher giving master classes all over the world in both guitar or konnakol

What is your music dream?

Playing and performing my music is my dream - I am doing that and I am totally awake :-)

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I never think like that - I try to master myself first of all one day I might be done with that and come to the conclusion that the world needs to be changed but for now the world seems to be just fine.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

music is magic.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

lucky to have such a wonderfull job. Music is magic

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I only see my own reality - and I am busy improving it

What do you think of Drooble?

I dont think to much about anything, sorry :-)

What frustrates you most as a musician?

well, it seems like frustration is a huge part of the job description. I don't focus too much on that

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I got a huge tattoo of their logo on my bag. So when I go to the beach everybody can see I am a fan

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

If I had that answer - would I then need a profile here on Drooble? :-D
