HatKez (SixHands)

Story

The HatKez (SixHands) includes Istvan Bodor (Joe) and Louis Rankl (Czupák). Now only a virtually existing band (collaborating through the internet), given that its members last met in person in 1989. The present HatKéz is 2/3 of the original three-member band that played progressive rock in Szeged, Hungary between 1969 and 1972. The current gang has the two old members: Joe and Czupák. We kept the HatKez (SixHands) name because there are guest players frequently joining us. Our lyricist Bela Banyay wrote the words for a bunch of our songs recently. (The photo above was made in 1985, there isn't any later picture showing us together.) The band is still looking for a singer. The currently audible scraping, rasping, grinding on the albums only serves the purpose of showing the very deep and profound reflections coming from the songs.
