Music is like a never ending journey through a new world, each new track I listen to or make is like stepping foot into another universe of creativity.
Originally I dreamt of having a career in music production, I have since had other plans but I still produce music for my own entertainment.
I would change everyone's view of newer unheard musicians like myself and hope others would take the time to appreciate us. But that sounds sort of aggressive!
The most memorable song from my childhood would be Sanctify by Delirious? They are a UK based Christian band from the 1990's.
My all time favorite musician today would be The Field (Axel Willner). I discovered him in late 2011 at a HMV store, a song from the new (at the time) album Looping State Of Mind was playing in the store, that song was It's Up There. Another few favorites of mine would be MUSE, Foo Fighters and Delirious?
When I was around 10 or 11 a CD containing a music making software for kids came in a cereal box called Ejay, I instantly fell in love with electronic music at that point creating different mixes just by clicking and dragging. I still have the same view on music to this day but without the click and drag element.
There isnt really a message in my music, i leave it out there for people to decipher for themselves.
I haven't yet performed in front of an audience, but I have played in front of a few friends and family members.
I've never heard of it until today when a friend from the USA showed me it and invited me. I think it's great!
I mostly dislike hitting a creative block, some other small hates would be false copyright claims when I upload to YouTube or lack of listeners ETC.
If I knew, I would be a different man right now.
I would highly recommend The Field to you as a start, he is a musician from Sweden who resides on Kompakt Records.
