I am a retired 70 year old research biologist who loves playing the piano or keyboard first, singing second, and will do a trumpet if needed. I make up my own stuff on the fly and have written some tunes, including a 17 piece dance band number. I am eclectic and play anything that "resonates" with me. What I don't like is hard or acid rock, nasty lyrics, or brain shattering sound that is passed off as music. I can be both irreverent and serious with the same tune. I do my best not to take myself too seriously and I expect the same lack of drama from other people. When you get to be my age, chances are you'll understand.
