What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is part of me eternally. Everyday I am indulged in it whether its learning a new song or skill or practicing or thinking about my next show...I live and breath it.

What is your music dream?

My dream with music is to have a band of guys I can call friends on and off the stage, writing music that we love and that our audiences love and can learn from.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Thats a tough one, but if I had to start somewhere it would be in the education. That where the people have been most taken advantage of over the years, its the reason we are where we are today and starting from the source is the only way to fix it.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

War Pigs by Black Sabbath will always have a special part in my heart because it has been such a powerful song for me through my years playing music.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Led Zeppelin, Foo fighters, Black Sabbath, Sublime, Tom Petty and John Mayer are my tops...although I've been heavily influenced by more than the mentionable amount here

What inspires you to make music?

I feel like although everyone lives a different life, there are many problems we all face together. If I can write a song thats melody makes people feel hope and they can relate to my lyrics, I will feel like I'm doing my part as a musician in this world.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I want to send a message of hope and change. It's about time people came together and worked towards the future...Lets stop singing about guns and violence and start preaching love and peace. The rock bands from the 60's-90's had the right idea but everyone was too blind to see the truth in the lyrics. It's time for them to realize now is the time to act before its too late!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Comfortable...There is nothing like getting in front of people and making them vibe with you. For me it's a relief because I'm usually anxious before a show...I just love performing so much.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

The solo artists and rappers and DJs are making bank while the bands are definitely on the lower end of the income. Thats up to the audiences and the people promoting it at the top. I'm not close enough to give a certain answer on what would improve this.

What do you think of Drooble?

Drooble is an amazing tool for musicians and industry pros alike. A great avenue to share music and connect with others that are passionate about the same things. I think Drooble will be one of the platforms that will improve the industry. Its network is growing fast and the features are so beneficial, I'm so thankful to have come across it!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

My day job.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Hell yea! I go to shows all the time! Seeing others play on stage is what inspired me to play in the first place and I always pick up things that other musicians do on stage that improve my playing.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Social media understanding; recording capabilities; ability to build their network and find new opportunities;

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Ajeva, Resinated, Serenation (from St. Petersburg, FL) Starfish (Netherlands)
