What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music all in all means expression to me. I always say, the most catchy lines are not the ones having the best melody, but the ones going right through your heart.

What is your music dream?

Some day I want to be able to produce my own band, such as many bands do today. I want to bring that feeling to the people that the artists I adore give me when I listen to their music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Bring back more Metal and Rock to the people! Even behind those screams can hide a lot of feelings and a message.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Well im not that old, but the most memorable song of the last years is definitely „The Final Episode“ by Asking Alexandria. Also „Sleepwalking“ by Bring Me The Horizon means a lot to me.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I love the old stuff from Asking Alexandria. Never liked them that much but when I heard their first record, it blew my mind! I also really really love Bring Me the Horizon because Oli‘s voice is just incredible! Same for Bullet. Matt‘s screams are absolutely amazing.

What inspires you to make music?

Feeling. Emotions. I thinks its a gift to be able to express your feelings with music, especially singing.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Its more like a feeling delivered through a message by using the right words with the right melody.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

People are always nervous when performing for an audience. I‘m nervous as well. But when the music you‘re performing is really what you feel, you can throw away the nervousness and do what you love.

What do you think of Drooble?

I think it‘s a nice way to get into business and to get to know each other!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Work can be frustrating sometimes. Not having enough time to hang around with the homies and just jam until a great part is created.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I‘m taking every festival/concert that takes place around me. Kassel has a lack of interest into metal, but maybe it wont when I continue doing what I love.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Thats a good question. I guess ambition is the true factor of being heard.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Listen to Beyond the Ocean! Going slow but maybe some day we‘ll kick asses!;)
