Music, as every other art form, is a non-verbal conversation/outlet. Sometimes a tale sometimes the expression of complex feelings which can not easily expressed because language has it's boundaries. Music gives me feelings and perspectives of soul bound circumstances.
My music dream is to get my productions into the 3rd dimension and move them around at will. I'm working on this dream to come true.
I would start with changing the way we teach kids. Kids should be taught how to not limit themselves. Sure they need to learn the basics and discipline but they also need to learn about the perspectives. They should know why discipline is important in order to achieve their dreams and goals in life.
"Bronsky Beat - Smalltown Boy" it describes exactly how i felt as a kid. This was the first ever track which gave me the feeling that other people feel (have felt) exactly like me.
Non electronic i would say Queen. In electronic music there are a lot, first off i'd say Robert Hood but also The Prodigy, Aphex Twin, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Dj Koze, Kraftwerk to name a few.
Nature, my feelings, love, sounds, people, animals.
The message is my love for music. That's what i want to share with the world. Deejaying saved my life, it keeps me centered. I love performing music and sharing feelings with the crowd.
At home. In Love.
I believe there's a lot of pressure on musicians and depressions are common in performing arts. People should know that the so called "stars" are only people and they do their best but sometimes they need to rest a little and get in touch with "normal life". Me as a producer i think my work doesn't belong to me. It's not me. It's what i did but it doesn't define who i am. Music uses me as medium to express itself.
I love it. It's such a nice vibe on this site. Sure there are things to improve but what's here is already amazing. I love it so far. I heard music i wouldn't hear usually. Technically Drooble already broadened my musical horizon.
My own censorship. Getting gigs as a good deejay before having a great release out is quite hard. I'm working on it though.
I go to places where the music scene is happening and pay entrance even if i'm on the guest list. You work, you should get payed. Unfortunately politics destroyed much of the club scene here in Freiburg (Germany).
A high quality solid work and determination. Believing in oneself is very important. Don't give up... it takes a lot of time and dedication.
