What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music to me gives me the freedom to express myself in a way that I normally don't. Music is one of the greatest gifts God could ever create.

What is your music dream?

My dream is to encourage and uplift people and sharing God's love through music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would definitely start by being there for people and helping them out whenever they need it. I would definitely add music along with it too.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I have so many. Anything from Cedarmont Kids and Brentwood Kids Company. I would probably say "God Made The Jungle" by Heaven's Sake Kids.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I also have so many! The Isaacs, Annie Moses Band, The Clark Sisters, Crystal Lewis, Stacie Orrico, Plus One, Sandi Patty, Tori Kelly, Cece Winans, Missi Hale and many more.

What inspires you to make music?

A whole lot of listening. I love listening to harmony and different sounds. I like to think a lot.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I want to tell people that there is a God and Jesus will never give up on you if you open your heart and let Him.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Nervous at first. But when I start to sing. The nervous bugs get off quickly. It helps when I pray before I sing.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I see that there is a lack of creativity in the industry. I feel that people should really express the giftings that God has given and expand our horizons. We should be unlimited in terms of making music. It's time for us to focus on what really matters and give people hope, because this generation is not having that much of good soul food when it comes to lyrics.

What do you think of Drooble?

It's cool! I love how easy it is!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Trying to figure out how everything fits when making music.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I love to support other people. I guess you could say I am a cheerleader.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Just be themselves. Try not to copy what other people do. Be very authentic.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Have you ever heard of Tauren Wells, Stacie Orrico, Rachael Lampa, Annie Moses Band? Those are all that could come in my mind in the moment.
