I started playing the piano when I was 7, picked up a guitar 10 years later and being introduced to the 6-strings, the guitar family has known a fast growth. I am a musician based in Ghent, Belgium and I play in a indie band called Sonderwålt.
Music is the sang version of everyone's thoughts.

Seeing people enjoy music, my bandmates and the feeling of my fingers on a guitar neck.
The lyrics I write are often related to personal events, but anyone can relate to them in a certain way. Most of the time I'm an optimist and so are my songs. Even in more difficult situations, I try to give the songs a hopefull ending. Happiness, hope and courage.
I love to see the audience embracing our songs.

Losing a pick. (Kidding) Not being appreciated enough for what you do, having to be "thankfull" they ask you to play and expect you do everything for free.
I try to go as often as I can to local bars to see fellow musicians/friends play, so do they for me. Which is nice for everyone.
If I only knew that... :)
On www.vi.be are a lot of (relatively) unknown Belgian bands, including mine. :)
