What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the sang version of everyone's thoughts.

What is your music dream?

To keep on playing with my band.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Make people listen to each other.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Courtney Barnett, Black Box Revelation, Equal Idiots, Fleetwood Mac

What inspires you to make music?

Seeing people enjoy music, my bandmates and the feeling of my fingers on a guitar neck.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

The lyrics I write are often related to personal events, but anyone can relate to them in a certain way. Most of the time I'm an optimist and so are my songs. Even in more difficult situations, I try to give the songs a hopefull ending. Happiness, hope and courage.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I love to see the audience embracing our songs.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think the internet and promoting your band/music online has been an improvement in getting your music to others. But it does not outweigh personal contact.

What do you think of Drooble?

Awesome! A platform where musicians from all over the world can meet, why didn't they invented this earlier? :)

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Losing a pick. (Kidding) Not being appreciated enough for what you do, having to be "thankfull" they ask you to play and expect you do everything for free.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try to go as often as I can to local bars to see fellow musicians/friends play, so do they for me. Which is nice for everyone.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

If I only knew that... :)

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

On www.vi.be are a lot of (relatively) unknown Belgian bands, including mine. :)
