My name is Dylan Farred and I am currently a busker of the V&A Waterfront as well as a performer/waiter at Stardust Theatrical Diner. I am also a Wynberg Old Boy and i was in various productions and bands during my time at Wynberg Boys. I do also currently have a full scholarship for vocal lessons with School Of Rock. I am a singer-songwriter who performs with the guitar and i have my own sound system as well as a ready-to-go set-list for 3-4 hours, which can obviously be adapted or changed as needs be. I am currently looking for gigs and the like as i am looking to record some of my own original songs, and i require the funds to do so. At the moment I am in the process of recording a single for radio with Deboov Studios, and I will soon be working with Ebrahim Mallum to record 2 or 3 songs, also for radio. I have also been approached by various parties, whilst busking, to perform at their venues, including The Deck house and Blue Peter, along with private gigs as well, birthdays, weddings and the like. Venues i have performed at include The Deck house, Jack Black Brewery, Brass Bell, Roxy Revue Bar and various private functions. I am currently also in conversations with agents/managers at the moment. In the near future I am scheduled to perform at the Cape Town International Buskers Festival as well as at the Unkown Legend series at the Vic bar and Striped Horse and potentially at the Cape Town Kite Festival and Quay Four, in addition to private performances.
