Music is a part of me. I left it for awhile and it tore out a piece of my soul. Never again!
To just keep on playing, learning, growing and entertaining.
Just love. That's all there really is. Didn't a famous band say that once?
Too many.
Way too many! But I'd have to say right now my classic favs are Dick Dale, Hank Marvin, Ritchie Valens. Contemporaries include Los Straitjackets––Eddie Angel and Danny Amis, Los Kahunas, The Bambi Molesters, Frankie Blandino and The Fathoms…this list is going to get WAY too long!
It just feels right. There's no better feeling in the world than having a good time and hooking up on a groove with a group of good people.
None! No drama. No story. No meaning. NO WORDS! Just surf and love!
In the right place.
It's amazing! When I first started, there were plenty of people making a decent living on the road, but the only way to make it big was through the labels. The internet has changed everything. Everyone has a shot and you can share your music all over the world instantly. Can't imagine what could be improved these days except maybe more musicians doing their own thing without worrying about becoming pop stars.
Too soon to tell! Looks like a great platform. Looking forward to exploring more––then I'll modify my answer!
Not doing it full time anymore! But that's OK, I do what I want!
Going to shows, promoting our Brothers and Sisters online and keeping the buzz going. Organizing opportunities to showcase local groups––lots of good ones!
Perseverance. Same as it always was.
See above. I'll add The Dead Rocks, Blue Hawaiians, The Langhorns, Blue Stingrays, Sr. Bikini, Lost Acapulco, Los Coronas, Sufer Joe, Arizona Baby…I could do this all day!
