Music is my therapy. Gives me freedom of expression. I've been suffering depression for years. One thing I know is to never bottle things up..and I don't.

Racism. We long for progression, but we allow racism to influence regression. Ultimately leading us on a road to nowhere.

my idols. they inspired me as a kid and they continue to inspire me now. Lately, NF has inspired me to stop cursing so much in my songs. Which is beneficial for my daughters. I want them to be able to listen to my music without hearing an F-bomb every other word. haha
I suffer from depression. Have been for years. I don't really have friends, except for my day one Dani The Fox and well my wife and kids. I don't really congregate. I don't make friends. I have TRUST ISSUES. I'ma a recluse. I'm introverted. I'm anti-social. I have been working as a graveyard security officer for 5 years, just because I am able to work alone and I'm happy with minimal interaction. I sleep in my closet during the day. I don't party. I don't drink. I don't smoke or do drugs. I guess I'm boring. Maybe A loser. I don't care. All i know is I know who I am, and there is nothing bad anyone can say about me or to me that I haven't already said to myself. Point is, if you in away relate to this. That's the message. You ain't the only one.......
The stage is the second home I long for. Not my dead end 9 to 5 job. I'm an addict to performing. After every show, I just wanna hop right back up there and connect with folks, sing my heart out, yell till my my throat goes hoarse.
I just really really REALLY hope these artists singing about depression really know what they are talkin' bout and not just using mental illness as a marketing tool. All I'm saying for that point.
