LOLITAS CORNER Dave Griffiths

Story

THE BAND HISTORY. 1993 – Present Day Lolita’s Corner first performed in the 1990s under the name blood orange in SW England. from the start they wanted to integrate female harmonies with beautiful melodies and immediate catchy music having gigged for years they broke up, years later they then came back together to record for the simple love of music. this despite the band living in different parts of the United Kingdom; however first they had to change their name, as a new york artist was around called blood orange. the music has grown immensely from the first album empty with catchy melodies and often dark lyrics, to the latest opus rozmėry, a synth driven soundscape and tribute to David Bowie. the band explore many genres from acoustic pop, synth rock, to pop punk and classic rock and love doing what the hell they want.
