Story

I began making music back in the Amiga scene days. I have been pausing for a lot of years now, but I found inspiration again. ...and here I am! (and for some strange reason I went back to the retro/demo-scene in 2020 again and began making music on C64 and Amiga)

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is making me feel good! I've always been interrested in music as far back as I can remember.

What is your music dream?

My dream is to compose for commersials and continue having fun! Because for me, it's all about having fun!

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Remove all religions! We're modern human beings. We don't need to worship any fairytales about people with magical powers. Time to wake up!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I have several. Very different ones. I know I liked Koto with "Visitors" from an early age. I also liked Twisted Sister with "I wanna rock". Fancy "Slice me nice" also made an impact on me back then.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Infected mushroom, Reso, Noisia, Meshuggah, Waldhaus, The Prodigy... Can't really decide.

What inspires you to make music?

The feeling of happiness when creating it! I really enjoy making music just for my own. But later I always release it for the public, for free :D

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Enjoy, relax, and have a good time!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I have never done that, since I mostly create my stuff in a DAW.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It's hard to make money on music nowdays, ever since spotify, deezer and apple music became a big thing. It's all about the gigs and shows and even merchandise. I don't really know what could be improved... I'm not making any money of my music. (yet)

What do you think of Drooble?

I think it's a great place to spread your music, and meet new friends around the globe.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Mixing and mastering my work. I always get stuck! ...and even if I put time and effort in it, I'm never satisfied.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Not really. I'm not going to any concerts, not buying any albums... I just listen to new stuff here on Drooble, at Soundcloud, and Spotify.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

In my oppinion, less "pre-fabricated" music. Put more soul and pureness into the songs. Todays stars only look good, but they sound like shit live. ... and yeah, use less compressors, autotune, and let the music sound more dynamic and real! ?

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Leaderboard! Listen to them (youtube, spotify, soundcloud etc). They are amazing! It's a friend of mine and his buddy. I used to make amiga music in the same group in the demoscene with him back in the days. They have become very professional! I really like their work.
