I made a good living as a music director and teacher. Now I'm retired and trying new things. I have fun influencing the new cats coming up.
What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?
Determination and perspiration. Perform for anyone. One of the best gigs I ever had resulted from meeting someone at a music festival jam session.
