Free Krispy Kremes for all!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Pre-teenage years: Hanson - "MMMBop" During adolescence: Linkin Park - "In The End"

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

As a collective: Anyone from Architects through Jimmy Eat World to Limp Bizkit. Far too many to mention.

What inspires you to make music?

We pool our influences, regurgitate our favourite parts and try to fill a void we think exists somewhere in between.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Rise above. Vent life's frustrations through the music & channel your energy into something positive. Get up and go!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Electrified & buzzing with adrenaline but simultaneously humbled that people want to engage with us.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

“One t-shirt is the equivalent to 5000 streams on Spotify. 76% of all music in 2019 is streamed and not bought physically or digitally. Band merchandise is the most direct way of supporting an artist.” The industry would do well to learn from it's mistakes and oversights of the past, whilst musicians must remain open-minded and adaptable to overcome the hurdles placed in front of us. The internet is a gift & a curse but it's better to know your enemy... Then make it your bitch.

What do you think of Drooble?

Easy to navigate and use, it seems like a great idea but it's early days yet... We'll get back to you on that one!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The incestuousness of the mainstream zeitgeist, although the underground can also be cliquey. It's always been "who you know, not what you know" but that's just life.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

We attend shows, buy merch and also have members who work as local promoters (including hosting a podcast focused specifically on our local area).

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Powers of perception and self awareness of their place in the market. Music is an art form as well as a business so both need to be respected to maximise their potential.
