Hausers Band

Story

In a music industry that often seems overly ego-driven and focused it is refreshing for many to see a project take the exact opposite approach. Enter Hausers, an Italian band who fuse indie-rock music and art into something very special all while making an extra effort to keep their names and faces out of the spotlight, and the attention kept on the music they are pouring their hearts and souls into instead. The latest fruit to be born from the project, the single “Tokyo”, will be available across all major streaming and download platforms on March 22nd, 2019, and those who have heard advanced copies expect it to have a heavy impact on music fans who appreciate substance, quality, and imagination over personalities. “Yes, we take a different approach to music creation and how we present our band,” commented the vocalist of Hausers. “But this is by design and we would like to see our music speak for itself. You can feel this spirit in 'Tokyo' and look forward to seeing how well it is received.” According to what little is known of the band's backstory, the musicians who came together to form Hausers in 2016 even take a non-traditional approach towards music creation and performance. Rarely meeting in person, the three Milan-based musicians do most of their work at home, before fusing it together into something much larger than their individual pieces. The end result is an experience that takes listeners on a ride where influences stemming from much of the last 40 years of rock music can be heard sneaking into their sound, as they undoubtedly present something fresh and new. Italian indie-rock is being put on notice with the release of “Tokyo” that Hausers are not scared to think outside the box, and let their work stand on its own two legs. What is music to you? What does it give you?

In an industry where ego often trumps artistic considerations, Italian band shrouded in mystery Hausers has taken a completely different and fully unconventional approach. Silent about the identity of their members and fully committed to delivering experimental music that dives into new territory the band has won significant praise for their first single and video, “Tokyo”. Now giving evidence that this is not just a one off, Hausers has released their second single “Leo”, which continues the story line from “Tokyo” and is even being backed up by a comic book set in the time between both songs. Fans old and new are sure to be extremely excited. “We are in a series right now with each song telling a chapter of the story with its video,” commented a voice from the mysterious band. “And we are enjoying developing this plot through our music and art. Combining the two forms is something special to us.” Leo has lyrics that truly touch the heart, spinning around the idea of loneliness and loss but also the need to push on, with the an excerpt hauntingly saying, “Sometimes I wish I could give Up living on and on and (On) Someday...” Hausers’ remarked about ‘Leo’, “When you are a child there is a thin line between what is real and unreal. It's the cool thing about being a child. No one judges you. All is a dream. Anything and everything could happen. When you become an adult this line is better defined, most of the time, and our choices tend towards the rational. But what happens if you grow up without the skill to decide what is the right side? You could be a visionary adult or you could just become crazy. This is the idea that ‘Leo’ is based around.” “Tokyo” has had over 52,000 streams on Spotify and all signs are pointing towards “Leo” expanding that reach with the comic and other outreach sure to intensify interest. The single “Leo” drops on September 13th togheter with it's video on both YouTube and Vevo. While this happens the band still develops their interesting, innovative sound. Expect the third release to continue along this path into uncharted territory. To learn more visit https://bnd.lc/hausers.
