What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music for me started as a form of therapy. But as time passed it grew to be so much more when I started to notice how my music helped other people with their own struggles and dark days. Music has become such a huge part of my life and in many ways is what keeps me moving forward.

What is your music dream?

To spread my sounds to as many people as possible. Anything above and beyond that I consider a bonus. Fame and fortune hold very little weight with me.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would start with opening peoples minds to others. If people could understand how others think and feel it would make the world a different place and people would view each-other differently.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I have to take it back to my earliest memory of my love for music. Queen - We Will Rock You. When I was a kid the Queen Greatest Hits album lived in our Stereo. I would sit and listen to that album start to finish playing Super Mario on Nintendo. Felt like the greatest time in the world to me.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Way too many to list them all across so many different genres. But to name a few: Insane Poetry, Corey Taylor, Tech N9ne, Jamie Madrox, KRS1, SCUM, Mudvayne, & George Clinton

What inspires you to make music?

I grew up with a burning love for music, ever since I was a kid I knew I wanted to do something with music. It wasn't until I was an adult that I really stepped up and tried. I started by making music just for myself, to see what I could do (if anything) but once I started to let other people hear my music and the positive feedback from it everything changed.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

All my music has a different message. Topics change, options change, and people grow. Some of my music is meant to be funny, some is meant to be serious, and some are auditory vents. It all depends on what song you choose to hit play on.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Like nothing else in the world matters. When you step on stage in front of a crowd its like nothing else in the world exists. And if you do it right the crowd feels the same way. You can feel the vibes and everyone becomes connected if only for that brief period of time.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I see the music industry now is chaos. Artists need to work together more than against each other. Artists who make music for the right reasons with realistic goals need to encourage and collaborate. Too many artists try to use and abuse to get a leg up in the business and that is just flawed thinking in my opinion. This is one of the fundamental reasons for starting Earworm Entertainment.

What do you think of Drooble?

This site is amazing. It is hands down one of the best music networking social sites around right now. I have never been a part of a social network that brings musicians of so many different styles and genres together in such a positive way. I really look forward to being a part of this site and watching it grow.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Balancing knowledge with skill. Being an artist its hard to know when you have to step back, look at yourself, and be honest with yourself when you have a concept you just aren't ready to bring to life yet. Example, my new album Sinister Intent has been in the works for the better part of 7 years. This is because when I first had the idea it became very clear I just wasn't ready to bring it to life the way I felt it should be. It took me those years to gain the knowledge and experience needed to do so.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I support my local scene and the (real) underground scene as a whole. I try to encourage and inspire whenever possible. I have given a home to like minded artists in the form of the Earworm Entertainment Artist Collective (EwEaC) and inspired artists in the US and Canada who had the drive but didn't know where to start. Sometimes all it takes is a spark to bring something to life.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Confidence, Drive, & Resilience. It's not an easy business to be involved in and things can go sideways real quick if you don't know how to handle yourself and given situations. But most importantly you have to remain humble. Don't let outside influences change who you are as a person, no matter your level of success.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

You know I have to share my Earworm Entertainment brothers. Jay Prophet, Maniak Max, Grim Singmuf, DMK, Mr NoBoDy, NFG, and TStone. Outside of Earworm Entertainment you should checkout Nekro G, SCUM, Phatzo, & Diseased Mentality.
