Story

Brian is a classically trained musician of the Julliard School of Arts and works as a session musician, jingle writer and songwriter in Nashville TN and Austin TX. He is a long time ASCAP member with over 400 titles currently cataloged and has written, produced and/or performed 4 top ten hits and has been featured on many main stream album productions. He plays all the instruments on all his productions. When he plays with other bands it's usually the Guitar, Piano, Lap Steel, Pedal Steel or Violin (Fiddle).

Music is the anchor that keeps my life sane

I'm already living it. Producing, writing and playing.

Eric Clapton, Albert Lee, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Delbert McClintock and of course B.B. King.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I'm an entertainer, so I always have a blast.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It's much harder to gain relevance mainly because musicians nowadays rarely come up with anything truly original. The music industry is over saturated and many musicians have lost sight of the purpose of music. To entertain.

What do you think of Drooble?

Can't say yet. Let me try it for awhile.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Setting up and tearing down my equipment.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Of course I do. I attend other musicians/bands gigs and offer help/guidance when asked.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I'm still exploring that myself. I'll let you know when I figure that out.
