Music is everything to me. I found out as a young child the power that music has on the inner struggles that we face everyday. If it's stress from my Job, relationship, friends family or just things in my life, I can take that frustration and harness it into something creative and it becomes like therapy.
To take it as far as I can and be able to provide for my kids.
How society treats itself.
Rocket Queen by Guns-n-Roses
A LOT. Way to many to cover.
Everyday life and the release I get from the creativity.
Love, respect, balance, peace and over all not being afraid to be you.
I lose myself a lot. Their are different things that happen for different crowds. Like a small bar with say 75 people is a lot easier to get more personnel as apposed to something like a festival or arena crowd of like 20 or 40 thousand people where you have to be a bit more focused. But overall their is nothing in the world that compares to being on stage as a performer.
Everyone has to keep making advances in this business to keep up with technology. At my age now i'm still a wishful thinker that it would be nice to go back to the days of really having to grind for what you want. Networking is so easy in today's world even if you suck all you need is the money and because of internet etc.. boom your famous where back in the day the only way you could network was to just go out and play. Their are so many talented bands and artist that don't get heard because they simply don't have the funds to make the crossover into multimedia mainstream and I think That hurts.
I love it.. Been waiting for a platform that is based on just music alone.
Honestly....... Bar and club owners who want everything for free. Not that we are in this just for the money but lets be real. Doctors get paid for doing what they love as well as many, many, many other chosen careers. So why is it bad to people that musicians want to get paid for doing what they love? Most of us get stereotyped as drug using party heads and for most that just is not the case so that part is frustrating.
Yes very much. I go to as many shows as I can. Sharing post on fb and tweets etc..
Learn your craft. Don't rely on things like auto tune etc... Learn your stuff, practice and make yourself better. Play or write the kind of music that makes you feel good. Except failier to learn how to succeed because without fail their is no winning. You have to be able to take people who will criticize you and use that to make yourself better.
