Music It comes, it inhabits Worlds rearrange Arteries dilate And constrict with a vengeance We feel it surge, ever narrowing Ever widening, undulating It telegraphs the brain and soul Beckoning the gut to respond Giving life to dead limbs Providing an emotional microscope To gander at precious notes To absorb another's thoughts And realize that This amazing conduit Is truly universal
To have one of my musicals produced on Broadway
The children, of course.
The first time I heard From Me To You, November 1963....I was 14.
Beatles, Billy Joel, Sinatra, Ella, Stones, B B King, Clapton....and several hundred others!
Everything. A writer finds inspiration in many different ways.
A varied one since all humans are different. I want my songs to be either thought provoking, or pure fun.
Excited, Happy, Alive, Content.
The reality has changed drastically since I started in the mid 60s. I would love to see small venue, or bars packed with people listening to local bands like the old days.
I like it. Not sure how to fully exploit my music here, however.
Lack of gigs nowadays......hard to sell music as well.
I check out local bars and small clubs here in Brooklyn. I also sit in a lot with musicians I know.
Good question. I do not, however, have a good answer. Music is changing so rapidly these days.
