Story

From playing violin with an orchestra to making music with the worship band, Adeline has played a wide variety of musical genres throughout her violin performing experience. These genres include Musical Theatre, Classical, Blues, Christian Contemporary, and Improvisation. Adeline has been asked to collaborate with worship bands numerous times and has been the most sought-after violinist for her “sublime improvisation abilities”. She has been offered opportunities to share her music with churches and local communities at special events like the Dover Korean Festival and Delaware Korean Festival. Furthermore, Adeline has performed for benefit concerts, weddings, special occasion church services, and banquet ceremonies. Her musical theatre playing credentials include a First Violin and Soloist for West Side Story, First Violin and Soloist for Bye Bye Birdie, Second Violin for Into the Woods, First Violin for Annie, and First Violin for Guys and Dolls. Recently, she played First Violin with the Lancaster Bible College Orchestra for 2 years. Adeline is currently a senior in the Bachelor of Art’s for Music. Both of her parents, who are worship leaders, inspired her love for music and for the Lord. Her hometown is in Delaware.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music allows me to communicate my emotions. It gives me the freedom to express myself in ways that words cannot.

What is your music dream?

My hope is to use music not only to express my emotions but for a bigger purpose. I want to use music so others may know the Creator of music who happens to be the Creator of all things.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?
