What is music to you? What does it give you?

Emotional response & Feel good Factor. It is the unspoken language that ties us all together..

What is your music dream?

To be recognised as a Writer/Musician that gave something to the people of the world.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Acceptance !

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

That's almost so hard to narrow down, but i'll say Michael Jacksons Thriller album with Rod Tempertons Writing style making it happen.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, BB King, The Beatles, Harry Connick Jr, Nat King Cole, Brian Mcknight, Donny Hathaway, Earth Wind & Fire, Average White Band, Al Jarreau, Robin Thicke, Steely Dan, John Legend

What inspires you to make music?

It's just part of who I am. If I try to give up, something won't let me :)

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I like it to give people a strong emotional feeling or identification, like "Yeah iv'e felt like that before - I get this song!" or just feel good in the harmony and grooves the song is pushing out !

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Probably a bit nervous to start but once i'm rolling it's kind of all ok! Sometimes one just has to get well oiled. Comes with practice and just doing it I guess.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It honestly seems a little all up in the air. There does not seem a clear cut direction and I think this is somewhat reflected in the record label industry. Production levels are of course very high as you'd expect from current technology and technique. Somehow the musical aspect and substance I think lacks a little in comparison to yesteryear and over all feel good factor. Don't worry i'm brining this back! :)

What do you think of Drooble?

An excellent musical promotional idea, covering just the right points of interest and direction for any up coming musician, songwriter band or artist. Great stuff Drooble!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

I'll list these in point form. Getting heard, diminishing venues and clubs, reliance on social media, noise restrictions, Open mic nights everywhere! is affecting paid work as a musician/ performer, as the venue gets this for free - great for the venue not so much the artist! Record labels - Mmmnn - literally want the artist to already have achieved a massive following and high end studio recorded album and video before they'll consider taking an interest, therefore the majority of the hard yard has been achieved by the artist already. This also creates an elitism of individuals that have a large funding to create this opportunity. A rather lazy and risk free approach from the labels perspective, hence the increase in self promotion and release of track sales Spotify etc and smaller independent labels taking up the slack. Last but not least you've heard this one "We accept no unsolicited material" in our A&R department and charging for submissions.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I will always have a look at what's going on out there and throw some coins to those who have made the effort to go out there and busk. I know how it is, you can feel so vulnerable, so to make an artist feel appreciated is a positive act of kindness.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I think he or she as a writer should write from the heart and stay as close to genuine feelings and experiences they can portray in their music. Stay true to your musical style you feel most at ease and comfortable with.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

JAMIE LIDELL. I'd never hear of this guy until recently. So here is a link to one of his tracks. A great groove. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T--j0_yxBaY
